The Cavalry  Bugle (Key of B Flat)

The Cavalry Bugle  is our deluxe version of the Gunga Din bugle.  It plays in roughly B flat (remember no tuning slide).       12 1/2" long and 4" Bell, 23 oz.. Solid Copper with Brass accents.  Mouthpiece thoughtfully attached with a chain.  Duplicate of the 7th Cavalry bugle of the 1800's.  Great for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, waking up the neighborhood, or learning how to play a brass instrument without the valves.  Take it along backpacking.  No case.  See pictures thumbnails above.   We have two versions a natural copper  with the brass accents.  Great look but could use polish from time to time.  We also have a chrome plated version allowing from a more durable finish and less maintenance.  It keeps an outstanding mirror finish.  Please read our Click here to learn more about finish.  Note instruments may require polishing on arrival and since they are hand made you'll find small imperfections in finish (including solder bleeds ) and shaping.   Overall this is a very heavy duty bugle.
